We want you to love your Miik purchases. If for any reason you find yourself unsatisfied with your purchase, we provide our customers with easy returns.

Canada + U.S. returns

Unless marked "Final Sale," Miik will happily exchange or refund any items within 30 days from the date your order was placed. Items must also be unworn (less trying on), unwashed, with tags still attached. Please read more about return eligibility below.

30-day Return eligibility

Unless marked "Final Sale," Miik will happily exchange or refund any items within 30 days from the date your order was placed. We really appreciate you taking the time to ensure your garment(s) are in the best shape possible as we recover and resell all returned items — something that’s important to us as a sustainable brand. 

For that reason, we inspect returns upon arrival; if the item(s) returned are not in their original condition, you will either: not be eligible for a refund, or a $10.00 restocking fee will be deducted from your return.

Items are NOT eligible for return/exchange if they are:

  • Listed as FINAL SALE at the time of purchase
  • Washed and/or worn
  • Tags or labels removed
  • Not in original condition (i.e. pet hair, make-up stains, food, smoke/odour fumes, heavily wrinkled, etc.)

A $10 maintenance restocking fee will be deducted for returns on items requiring: 

  • Laundering due to pet hair, odour, or otherwise
  • Steaming/laundering or dry cleaning due to excessive wrinkling

Please fold and ship item(s) back in their original packaging or packaging of a similar size.

Instant exchange

Have your exchange shipped to you immediately!

We understand that waiting for an exchange approval can be frustrating. You want to receive your exchange faster, and for those eyeing limited inventory items, delays in the exchange process may mean missing out. To help resolve these issues, we now offer Instant Exchange through our Returns Portal!

INSTANT EXCHANGE ELIGIBILITY

The same 30-day return eligibility above applies to items you wish to Instant Exchange.

HOW INSTANT EXCHANGE WORKS

While using our Returns Portal and choosing to exchange your item(s), you have the option to select Instant Exchange. When you choose Instant Exchange, you enter your payment information, which triggers the creation of your exchange order immediately. We place a temporary hold of $1 on your credit card to verify its details and send you your exchange RIGHT AWAY, before even receiving your return! Once your return IS in transit back to us, the $1 hold is released. However, if you do not send back the item you’re exchanging within 21 days of completing the Instant Exchange, you will be charged for the full cost of the new product we shipped.

HOW-TO CHOOSE INSTANT EXCHANGE

The process to choose Instant Exchange is similar to a standard return, but with one key difference—on the final review screen before submitting your return, you will be given the option to choose Instant Exchange or to wait for your exchange to ship until after we have received the item(s) you are returning.

REGULAR RETURN OR EXCHANGE INSTEAD

If you do not wish to have a hold placed on your card or you prefer a regular exchange, you can simply proceed with the standard return or exchange process without entering payment details. However, customers who are opting for "Shop Now" or any upsell options will still need to provide payment for the difference.

INSTANT EXCHANGE REMINDERS

To help ensure you don’t forget to return your items and avoid being charged, we send reminder emails. These are sent on day 7 and 1 day before the charge date. We've got you!

Refund methods

Once we have received your return package, your refund will be issued to the method you chose in the returns portal within 3–5 business days.

REFUND METHOD OPTIONS

The returns portal (for Canadian and U.S. customers) will allow you to choose from the following refund methods:

  • Refund to your original payment method
  • Exchange for another Miik item
  • Refund for store credit to use on miik.ca

Purchases made with gift cards will be credited back to the gift card.

Return processing time

REFUND PROCESSING

We work hard to ensure returns are processed as quickly as possible. Once we have received your package, your refund will be issued to the original method of payment within 3–5 business days.

RETURN SHIPPING TIME

Return shipping time will vary and depends on the carrier. We accept returns within 30 days from when your order was placed. You must start your return within our Returns Portal within that window. So long as your return package is dropped off to its shipping carrier within those 30 days, it remains eligible for a return.

EXCHANGE PROCESSING

If you are exchanging an item, your replacement item will be shipped once we receive the item you’re returning, unless you selected Instant Exchange in the returns portal. Learn more about Instant Exchanges below.

International returns (from outside Canada or the U.S.)
